Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon Recipe #1
Ingredients:
- 10 pieces center cut bacon
- 20 stalks asparagus
Note: any quantity is fine, just make sure for every bacon, you will need 2 stalks asparagus
Steps:
- Wash the asparagus thoroughly, and pat dry
- Trim the woody stem off
- Slice the strips of bacon down to center. This way you will have two long, thin pieces
- Wrap the asparagus around with the bacon. Place them on a baking sheet (line the baking sheet with foil first)
- Place the baking sheet in the oven. Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The asparagus wrapped bacon should be in the oven during this preheat phase.
- Bake until the bacon is crisp, about 20 to 25 minutes
- Serve immediately
Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon Recipe #2
Ingredients:
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 cup or 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 12 slices bacon
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Divide the asparagus spears into 12 bundles. Wrap each of the bundles with 1 piece of bacon, starting 1/2 inch from the bottom of the tips. Secure them with a toothpick. Put on the bundles on a low sided casserole dish
- Combine pepper, garlic salt, soy sauce, butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to boil. Pour the mixture over the asparagus bundles
- Transfer the dish to the oven. Roast for 25 minutes or until the bacon looks fully cooked or the spears begun to wilt
- Serve. (note: don’t forget to remove the toothpicks before serving)
Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon Recipe #3
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds asparagus spears, trim it to 4 to 5 inches long tips
- 4 slices center cut pancetta or bacon
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Chives, scallions or garnish, chopped
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Coat the asparagus spears with the extra-virgin olive oil. Coat it lightly
- Season the asparagus with the black pepper
- Count the number of the spear tips, divide the total number by four
- Gather that number of spears, wrap the bundle with a slice of bacon, and secure them together. Repeat this step for the rest of the ingredients
- Place the bundles on a slotted broiler pan. Bake it for 12 minutes
- Optionally, if you don’t use an oven, you can grill the bundles on hot grill. Cook it until the asparagus bundles are tender and the bacon is crisp, about 10 to 12 minutes

Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon Recipe #4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 8 to 10 slices bacon
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Wash the asparagus spears, then trim it
- Cut the bacon strips in half crosswise
- With one half strip bacon, wrap each asparagus around. Leave tip and end exposed
- Put them on a cookie sheet with sides
- Bake until bacon is cooked, about 20 to 25 minutes

Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon Recipe #5
Ingredients:
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 9 to 10 thick cut bacon slices, cut them in half to make 6 to 8 pieces
- 18 to 20 asparagus stalks
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
- With a piece of bacon, wrap 3 to 4 asparagus stalks. Repeat this step until all asparagus stalks have been wrapped with bacon pieces. Arrange them on a rimmed baking sheet
- Whisk together pepper, salt, garlic powder and olive oil. Pour the mixture over the asparagus bundles. Toss lightly to coat
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the bacon is done and the asparagus is cooked through
- Remove from the oven
- Serve
